1. The Importance of God’s Presence

Psalm 51:10–13

David had sinned and realized how devastating life would be without God’s Presence.

He prayed:

• Create in me a clean heart

• Do not take Your Presence from me

• Restore the joy of my salvation

Key Point:
We cannot live victoriously without the Presence of God.

2. The Presence of God vs The Power of God

God’s Presence

• God Himself

• His glory and nature

God’s Power

• God’s manifested Presence

• The anointing to do what we cannot do in our own strength

When God’s Presence is truly present, His Power will eventually be revealed.

When His Presence is there:

• Love is present

• Lives are transformed

• Miracles can happen

3. Why We Long for God

We were created in God’s image.

We are:

• Spirit

• Soul (mind, will, emotions)

• Body

Our spirit naturally longs for God’s Presence.

“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

At salvation, God’s Presence comes to live within us, but His goal is for us to fully surrender our lives to Him.​​​​​​​​​​
